What does the treatment consist of?
We propose two distinct approaches in the treatment of depression:

Throughout this treatment, the neurobiological action of a drug with psychedelic properties is combined with a psychological intervention, in an individual context, limited in time and oriented according to the objectives and capabilities of each patient. This is a model broadly based on the paradigm of Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy.
The total number of Dosing and Integration sessions will necessarily take into account the clinical evolution of the symptoms, It is a shared decision between doctor and patient.

The proposed treatment model consists of:
- 1 Assessment Consultation pre-treatment.
- Checking eligibility for treatment, follow 2 Preparation sessions, 4 to 5 Dosing sessions and 4 to 5 Integration sessions in the days following the dosages.
- 1 month after the end of this sequence, there must be 1 Reassessment Consultation for clinical follow-upand ensure continuity of care.

The pharmacological model, although it uses the same psychedelic medication as the integrative model, is a simpler biomedical approach, oriented mainly towards the reduction of depressive symptoms. The intervention involves the administration of the drug under identical conditions, but without the accompaniment of structured psychological support in integration sessions. In this context, the psychedelic medication is used as an antidepressant which, unlike conventional antidepressants, does not require daily intake. The treatment is instead carried out through an acute cycle, composed of a minimum of five administrations, spaced over several weeks. According to this approach, some patients may subsequently benefit from additional maintenance sessions, with the aim of preserving the therapeutic response obtained.

The proposed treatment model consists of:
- 1 Assessment Consultation pre-treatment.
- If eligibility for treatment is confirmed, 1 Preparation session and 5 Dosing sessions follow.
- 1 month after the end of this sequence, 1 Reassessment Consultation should take place for clinical follow-up and to ensure continuity of care.
